Benedikte Klüver's work emerges from a place of inner landscapes. Working intuitively, she allows colours to both clash and harmonise through minimal compositions. She is fascinated by how colours reflect states of mind and create a map of temperaments across the surface. Her practice spans painting, needlepoint, and photography. Through each medium, Klüver explores the relationship between colour and material; how texture, forgiveness, and pace of each medium inform her use of colour.
