Bryant Mclaughlin Van-low Trinidad and Tobago , b. 1997

Born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, Bryant Mclaughlin Van-Low is an artist and creative strategist whose practice navigates the intersections of city design, identity, and cultural narrative. His multidisciplinary approach draws on his background in both fine art and urban design, exploring layered histories and diasporic experiences through texture, materiality, and spatial storytelling.


Van-Low holds a BA from Goldsmiths, University of London, and an MA in City Design from the Royal College of Art, where he was awarded the Frank Bowling Scholarship in recognition of his innovative contributions to the field. His work has been exhibited internationally, including recent group shows at DADA Gallery's Layered Textures (2023) at Cromwell Place, the Royal College of Art Alumni Exhibition (2023), and Chilli Art Projects' Social Tapestrys (2024) in London. In 2024, he was also featured at Milan Design Week at Base Milano.
